Ostrich Weekly Forecast: June 23

Sometimes I don't know how seriously to take our weatherman. This week, gazing into his forecasting sphere, he suddenly recalled his attention, turned to me, and said, "Remember that time when Fabio got hired to ride a roller coaster, and a goose hit him in the face?" I couldn't tell if he was making conversation, or if he actually foresaw a roller-coaster ride that ends with a face-full of goose. I asked him which it was, and he said, "Oh, no, I just happened to think of it. I always forget that it happened, and then I remember again, and it gives me a chuckle." But then he got a faraway look that made me nervous.

Officially, he's forecasting accomplishment and strawberries. As to the roller coaster thing, I don't know. It might be as chill as you could hope for, but if you find yourself thinking, man, this has been a real up-and-down week, that might be a good opportunity to don your goggles.
