Sept 22 - Ostrich Forecast
Themes and predictions for the autumn.

Somehow we made it to the fall.
For myself, my theme for autumn will be craft. I thought about naming this my Autumn of Bravery, but I'm not that brave, so... craft it is. If you haven't been here for the previous discussion of seasonal themes, a theme is akin to a resolution, but without the off-putting necessity to resolve anything. It's just a string around your finger that reminds you what you're up to.
I asked our weatherman for an all-autumn forecast, but he says his long-range crystal ball is in the shop. While I doubt that's true, he usually has his reasons, when he declines to give a prediction. If he thinks we're in for a plague, and doesn't want to say so, I hope it's plague of frogs. I honestly think a plague of frogs would be fun, for a while at least. Loud, though, I suppose. So maybe a plague of bunnies. Let's hope for a plague of bunnies.
If the weatherman won't give a forecast, somebody has to, so I opened a random word generator and asked for six adjectives. According to it, we're in for an autumn that's depressed, elderly, immediate, delightful, whole, and makeshift. If you trust the wisdom of randomness, there's your prediction.
